　　First aid is the timely treatment given to the injured before doctors comes.

For example, if someone suffers from a sprained ankle while doing sports, the best way to treat it is to put an ice pack or cold water on his ankle. When treating a cut, we should take immediate action to clean the wound and stop the bleeding. Call 120 if the injury is too serious to deal with. Besides, keeping a first-aid kit at hand is a wise c hoice.

　　In conclusion, knowing how to perform first aid is of great importance in our daily life, which sometimes means the difference between life and death.
